With the strong desire to eat tapas and explore a bit of the flamenco cityland, we left Lisboa in the evening and arrived in Sevilla past midnight just to confirm that the nightlife here is really buzzy, mainly due to the international students eager to integrate in the Andalusian culture. We suddenly found ourselves on the narrow streets filled with girls and boys, cervejas and tapas. We were too tired after the road so eventually decided to discover more of the city during daylight. LX Factory – The Lisbon’s Creative Corner

LX Factory – The Lisbon’s Creative Corner

Among the many places you can visit in Lisbon, there is one which is quite hidden from the eye and not many foreigners know about. It is not for everyone, we must say. But everyone could like it. We got you confused? That’s also because the place itself is a beautiful chaos. We say chaos due to its artistic side. And on top, it is settled in a factory.

The Monumental City of Évora

The Monumental City of Évora

Some days ago, (me, the local guide in the house) while on the way to making an Evora tour with a lovely American couple, the wife enthusiastically told me: “You know, we came here six years ago, when I was pregnant, and we liked this place so much that we decided to name our daughter Evora.” That’s how much one can fall for this city.

Romania Is Not Just Dracula’s Land

I visited Transylvania and I didn’t get bitten.

This last summer I visited Transylvania, Romania. And fully embraced the culture, gastronomy and way of life. Within the experience I got to meet simple and nice people in their habitat, traditions and specifics customs. Transylvania is situated on the west and central part of Romania and for many people the obscure land of Dracula…yet, not only. The meaning of the word Transylvania is “beyond / far side of the forest” and for the majority of people is a distant and mythical place. Continue reading

The Best Theme Song when Travelling The World

Craving for travelling re-emerges when music hits you. As if you can keep a feeling silent. Jimy Hendrix said: “Music doesn’t lie.”

It happened to us when we first listened to Birdie by Abel Korzeniowski. The surprise we had when we found the video! Someone else made the same association – with travelling the world – and it felt somehow comforting. The images and moments captured in this video will turn you even more restless – to climb a mountain, to sail away, to see what the mind can only imagine: “I’m going to pack right now! And leave. With the first plane, with the first opportunity.”

If you have other song recommendation, please drop us a link 🙂
